We invite you to join our upcoming event, Power Modernisation: Moving IBM Power (AS/400, AIX & Linux) to Azure, where we will be sharing how you can embark on your IBM Power modernisation journey. The event is taking place on Thursday 22 May, 2025, from 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM at Microsoft’s Ireland Headquarters, One Microsoft Place, Dublin (D18 P521).
Morning speakers include:
- Richard Gamblin, Mainframe & Midrange Technical Leader, Microsoft Global Black Belt, who will share the case for change to migrate IBM Power to Azure.
- Andrew Gerig, Skytap on Azure Leader, Kyndryl UK & Ireland, who will introduce Skytap and share how Skytap solves the technical debt dilemma for IBM Power users.
- Matthew Sawyer, VP Kyndryl, who will talk about a large-scale deployment of Skytap on Azure for retailer, The Very Group.
Lunch will be followed with a technical round table for those who would appreciate a deeper dive technically.
